Wireless Giant is excepting applications for a Retail Sales Associate position in one of its clean inviting stores selling innovative wireless technology and services.
Duties
Greets customer on sales floor and determines make, type and quality of merchandise desired.
Display merchandise suggests selections that meet customer’s needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility.
Prepares sales slip or sales contract.
Receives payment or obtains credit authorization.
Wraps or bags merchandise for customer.
Places new merchandise on display.
Takes inventory of stock.
Requisitions merchandise from stockroom.
Uses database to research availability of merchandise. Processes orders.

Requirements
Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Inventory software; Internet software and other processing systems.
Knowledge of and experienced with the wireless retail sales and customer service environment.
Physical demands include:
Maintaining presence on sales floor.
Stocking of inventory
Overseeing POS and cash register(s)
Operating and solving problems that may be encountered with equipment and/or fixtures.
