Wireless Giant invites applications for a Retail Store Manager position in one of its clean inviting stores selling innovative wireless technology and services.
Duties
Manages operational activities of high volume retail store engaged in showcasing and selling cellular devices, portable gaming devices/software, portable audio devices (MP3 players).
Responsible for store Profit & Loss performance.
Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations.
Responsible for sales objectives, quotas, targets and performance criteria.
Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
Implements sales promotion activities
Responsible for assisting with visual merchandising within stores.
Supervises employees responsible for direct sales, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, or preparing daily record of transactions for accounting purposes, etc.
Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.
Ensures employees comply with company code of conduct.
Answers customers' complaints or inquiries
Maintains store security.
May interview, hire and train employees.
Analyzes sales performance and devises plans to help hit sales targets.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of store to conform to budgetary requirements.
Tracks sales performance to budget.

Requirements
Have or be near completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Management or related field.
Knowledge of and experienced with the wireless retail sales and customer service environment.
Physical demands include:
Maintaining presence on sales floor.
Stocking of inventory
Overseeing POS and cash register(s)
Operating and solving problems that may be encountered with equipment and/or fixtures.
